Instructions to Download CAD Drawings or Solid Models for Baldor, Dodge and Reliance Products

 

  1. Proceed to the CAD Model Website.

 

  1. The first time you visit the site you must click on the Create account link on the home page to Log in. When you create an account your Username and Password are upper and lower case sensitive. There can only be one e-mail address for each account created.   After the first time you visit the site, only your Username and Password are needed to Log in.

 

  1. You will be able to revise your account using the "Settings" link at the top center of the home page.

 

  1. You will be asked to specify the software you will use to display 3D CAD drawings. If unknown or not available, you will only be able to receive a 2D image of a part.

 

  1. Select the Part in the tree structure, you can receive the CAD file for it any of the following three (3) ways:

1) Download it directly to your hard drive.

2) Send it to your e-mail address.

3) Insert it into SolidWorks (You must first launch SolidWorks).

 

IMPORTANT: There are some things to note (see below) - Make sure all pop-up blockers are turned off in order to get the prompt boxes to set up the settings.

 

Red arrow (see below) - Click this to set up your download options. You will get a pop-up box to fill out. (By selecting the CAD download option you can get the file directly to your PC.)

 

Blue arrow (see below) - Click this to do a Part Download.  This may take a few seconds.

 

Green arrow (see below) - It may take a few seconds to generate the file but once it is created then the disk icon will show up and you can click it for the Download.

 

Black arrow (see below) - Click this to Generate preview.

 

  1. You can search for your desired part (or parts), add them to My Documents, and Download (Green arrow) them in the CAD format of your choice.
